Happy 2020! And we are off to a good start: the Journal of Evidence-based Healthcare (ISSN 2675-021X) and the International Journal of Health Education (ISSN 2594-7907) have just been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals – DOAJ.
DOAJ is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals. Thus, it functions as an open access badge of quality with a broader coverage than that of commercial indexes.
We are very happy to announce this because these are the youngest titles in our web portal and they have been already accomplishing so much.
The first Brazilian Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare is a biannual interdisciplinary publication sponsored by BAHIANA – School of Medicine and Public Health. Its mission is to foster evidence-based knowledge in the Biomedical and Life Sciences through the publication of rigorous research and concept articles. It accepts and publishes original research focused on the critical exploration of the healthcare scientific field (specifically on the topics of publication bias, predictive values of research findings, inconsistencies in study designs and publications) and validation of clinical tools (accuracy of diagnostic / prognostic methods and efficacy / effectiveness / efficiency of therapies).
The International Journal of Education and Health is an annual online publication encompassing papers resulting from original scientific research on higher education development, health education (medical and in the frontier with other health professions and disciplines), with interdisciplinary approaches on education for fostering the health research scientific field.
None of our journals accept donations nor sponsorship from the industry. And they are full open access.
