MOBILIZAÇÃO NEURODINÂMICA E REGENERAÇÃO NERVOSA PERIFÉRICA: REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA

Resumo

Introdução: A mobilização neurodinâmicaé indicada em uma série de condições que afetam o nervo periférico, mas pouco se conhece sobre seus efeitos regenerativos.Objetivos: Descrever como a mobilização neurodinâmica pode interferir nas propriedades fisiológicas e mecânicas do nervo.Métodos: Esta revisão narrativa incluiu artigos registrados entre 1973 e 2012 no PubMed, escritos na língua Portuguesa e Inglesa e livros envolvendo estes tópicos. Discussão e Conclusão: Após uma lesão nervosa periférica uma série de eventos podem influenciar a regeneração, incluindo transporte axonal e movimento de fluidos, a carga mecânica aplicada no tecido neural e no tipo de lesão. Estes aspectos podem ser influenciados pela mobilização neurodinâmica. A dose, incluindo a magnitude da carga, velocidade e tempo são fatores que devem ser modulados para uma resposta ótima, enquanto a tensão, imobilidade ou hipomobilidade, podem ter efeitos negativos sobre a recuperação.

    Graduada em Fisioterapia pela Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública- EBMSP (2010). Mestre em Medicina e Saúde pela Universidade Federal da Bahia. Formação no método Pilates(2010) e Reeducação Postural Global (2012). Pesquisador do Laboratório de Eletroestimulação Funcional da Universidade Federal da Bahia-UFBA. Tem experiência na área clínica e em pesquisa, com foco principalmente em Dor e Regeneração Nervosa Periférica. Experiencia Acadêmica na disciplina de Anatomia Humana pela Universidade Federal da Bahia

    Graduado em fisioterapia pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Medicina de Reabilitação (1992), com especialização em docência do ensino superior pela Faculdade Béthèncourt da Silva (1993), aperfeiçoamento em técnica operatória e cirurgia experimental pela Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (1999), mestrado (2005) e doutorado (2007) em Ciências Morfológicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Tem experiência na área clínica, de educação e em pesquisa, tendo como principais interesses os tópicos dor, lesão e regeneração nervosa periférica, interação de campos eletromagnéticos com tecidos biológicos e desenvolvimento de dispositivos de tecnologia assistiva. Atualmente é professor adjunto II do Departamento de Biomorfologia da Universidade Federal da Bahia, pesquisador colaborador do Centro de Pesquisas Gonçalo Moniz - FIOCRUZ e do Centro de Referência em HTLV da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. É responsável pelo Laboratório de Eletroestimulação Funcional da UFBA, professor do quadro permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Medicina e Saúde da UFBA, professor colaborador dos Programas de Pós-graduação em Medicina e Saúde e Tecnologia e Saúde da EBMSP, bolsista pesquisador na empresa DTI 1B (FAPESB) da IMAGO Desenvolvimento de Produtos e membro do iNCT Ciência, Inovação e Tecnologia em Saúde
  • Ana Maria Blanco Martinez

    Médica pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1978), realizou residência em Anatomia Patológica no Hospital Universitário Professor Edgar Santos (UFBa) em 1979 e concluiu Doutorado em Neurociências na Universidade de Londres, em 1984. Atualmente é Professora Associada IV no Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Entre os anos de 1995-1996 fez Pós - Doutorado na Universidade de Rochester, EUA, também na área de Neurociências. Participa dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Morfológicas (UFRJ,) desde a sua fundação, e em Anatomia Patológica (UFRJ) onde atua como Professora orientadora na área de Degeneração e Regeneração do Sistema Nervoso. Já orientou 23 teses de Mestrado e 12 de Doutorado. Publicou até o momento 70 trabalhos científicos, todos em Revistas Indexadas. (Texto informado pelo autor)
