This article aims to understand the constitution of psychic suffering from the senses configured by academics and academics of the Federal University of the Southern Region of Minas Gerais in their experiences in the university context. With the development of an intervention research were 10 study participants from different health courses, who with the use and discussion of mediating materialities, such as photos, cartoons and videos, participated in fortnightly meetings throughout the study. From a qualitative analysis of the data, it is possible to define indicators that characterize the experience with feelings of isolation; loneliness; sadness; competitiveness within the spaces of classrooms and other relational spaces. We conclude that deflagrating the senses configured by academics in the university experience is one of the pillars for actions of health promotion and coping with the phenomena of psychic illness increasingly frequent in University Institutions, based on institutional, curricular and pedagogical actions.Downloads
