ACCIDENTS AT WORK IN NURSING TEAM: A LITERATURE REVIEW

The work is not only a source of income, but a possibility of access to healthcare, quality of life, personal fulfillment and social projection. What is observed, however, in a capitalist society is the expropriation of the subjectivity of the worker, that by submitting to a production model servile and highly competitive conduct is far from the critical-reflective able to identify the suffering and illness linked to occupation and designing the struggle for decent working conditions. In this perspective fall nursing workers who organize and perform their activities knowing often the occurrence of these risks potentially associated with occupational accidents, illness and even death. This study aims to identify the main occurrences of accidents at work in the nursing staff from a literature review. The material selected for analysis four analytical categories emerged, namely: accident at work in nursing occupational hazards in the working process of the nursing profile accidents at work in the category of nursing and preventive health worker. The literary estate reflects a reductionist about accidents in nursing has primarily emphasize exposure to the risk at the expense of other occupational hazards present, featuring an expropriation on diversity of health problems in this area. It appears that in the face of occupational exposure to various types of risks, recognizing them becomes essential in the creation of control measures and protection, ensuring the promotion of workers' health.
