EVALUATION OF THE USE OF TELEHEALTH APPLIED TO CARDIAC REHABILITATION: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Introduction: The use of telehealth can be performed in different health areas with a focus on prevention, treatment and follow-up. Objective: To verify the use of telehealth for better adherence and change in lifestyle in individuals who perform home-based cardiac rehabilitation. Method: A systematic review of the literature was carried out. We selected scientific articles classified as randomized clinical trials, using databases (BVS, Pubmed, PEDro), with the following strategy: telemedicine and cardiac rehabilitation and home-based and lifestyle and their respective terms in the Portuguese language, to search for articles. Results: Twenty-four studies were found that, after analysis, 7 studies were selected according to the theme in question, including 1,716 participants of both sexes, who were evaluated after using Telehealth for better adherence and change in lifestyle in rehabilitation Heart-based. Conclusion: The use of telehealth as a tool in home-based RC programs improves the adherence, clinical aspects and lifestyle of patients with cardiovascular diseases.Downloads
