Introduction: Stroke is the sixth leading cause of disease worldwide and in the United States is the third most common cause of death. One of the most common sequelae inhemiparetic is the deficit of the gait, which is characterized by changes in balance and standing. Objective: The aim of this work was to assess the effect of Kinesio Taping® method associated with Kinesiotherapy in the post stroke patient’s gait. Case: A study conducted in the form of case report, experimental, quantitative, qualitative, carried out at the Clinic of Physiotherapy Benedito in the city of Benedito Novo, a female patient, 32 years old, diagnosed with ischemic stroke, 5 years ago, had hemiparesis on the right side. Results and Discussion: There was a decrease in spasticity of the affected limb, an increase in overall range of motion in the lower limb, thus contributing to better implementation and speed of gait and balance in the daily activities. Conclusion: Considering the evidence found in this study, the Kinesio Taping® method associated with therapeutic exercise can improve gait in Stroke patients.
